I’m Jeff Herman, a data scientist and educator with an M.S. in Analytics from Georgia Tech. I’ve taught data science, machine learning, and generative AI at Flatiron School, Fullstack Academy, and Caltech, while also holding industry roles at H&R Block, Kansas City Southern Railway, and OPSDiscovery. My expertise includes machine learning, NLP, and cloud analytics. I focus on project-based learning and blending theory with real-world practice so learners build confidence, technical fluency, and strong portfolios. I’m passionate about making data science accessible to all. Whether mentoring aspiring analysts or designing curriculum, I bring a collaborative, feedback-driven approach to help students turn complex concepts into practical, impactful solutions.
