I’m Roger, a full-stack instructor and software developer with over 6 years of experience in tech education and 10+ years in software development. I’ve taught hundreds of students through intensive coding boot camps with edX and The University of Texas at Austin, delivering 250+ hours of hands-on, immersive instruction designed to launch successful developer careers. Before transitioning to teaching full-time, I worked as a Senior Software Developer at UT Austin, where I maintained CMS-driven web platforms using C#.NET, implemented CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure, and built scalable APIs and admin tools with PHP and MySQL. I specialize in front-end and full-stack development with technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React, and I’m passionate about creating real-world learning environments that equip students with the skills and confidence to thrive in the tech industry.
