Track(2):Intro to the DOM
HTML, DOM, API, WTF?

Welcome back to Client-Side JavaScript! We're up and running again, this time with a focus on the Document Object Model, or DOM for short.

In blunt technical terms, the DOM is an API (Application Programming Interface) for interacting with HTML and XML documents. This is probably confusing for you now, so don't worry about the definition too much yet.

In this lesson, you'll learn about how the DOM is structured and also how to use the right methods in JavaScript to manipulate it.

Instructions

This is just a little sample of what we can do with the DOM.

But we've jumped the gun on this one. Let's start by browsing over this code, but don't worry about doing anything with it.
