Are you a natural people connector hungry to develop and execute a brilliant talent acquisition strategy? Are you deeply passionate about building diverse teams?  As Codecademy’s senior recruiter, you will partner with the leadership team and manage the full lifecycle recruiting process from strategy to sourcing, through to offer and on-boarding.


Partner with the leadership team to define hiring goals

Craft detailed recruiting strategies that account for diversity, inclusion, and keeping the bar high

Creatively execute on inbound, outbound, and referral-based sourcing techniques, with an emphasis on encouraging our internal team’s participation

Collaborate with hiring managers to skillfully guide candidates through the full lifecycle recruiting process, while always staying focused on providing a warm candidate experience

Continuously identify opportunities to improve the recruiting process

As a member of the people team, you will work closely with HR to ensure smooth and successful on-boarding


3+ years of agency and/or internal technical recruiting experience

Ability to manage the full lifecycle recruiting process with minimal guidance

Proven track record of identifying and assessing top talent

A meticulous approach to organization

An innate understanding of how to prioritize

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

A proven track record of competition

Teaching and/or structured tutoring experience

Non-technical recruiting experience

Startup recruiting experience
