STATUS

what am i writing next to status and why?

What you write next to STATUS in line 23 will be the text of the new tweet (I just wrote "Testing..."). Once you run this exercise, this tweet (and its text) will be posted to the twitter account you used to create your Twitter dev credentials and API keys.

Remember that you must also update the access level. You just go on your developer account go on 'Settings' -> Access -> Read, Write and Access direct messages: D Do not forget to Save. After that, go back to the tab 'Details' and create a new Access Token. Copy the new values (access token, access secret) into the sample code and execute.
