1.2 What CSS is?

I didn't realize stylesheet.css at the top to the right of index.html was even there because dimmed color is so faint. So I didn't understand the lesson was referring to stylesheet.css or that I could refer to it. Is there a way to change the dimmed colors of the lessons?

Once you put in style="color: blue"> to make the word "blue" blue, you need to go to the stylesheet.css file tab above the code and change the text inside that to

p {
color: red;
}

span {
color: blue
}

That worked for me. :)

f you mean how to get to the CSS tab, go to the bar just above your code and click "stylesheet.css". Then remove what is in there and copy and paste into the CSS tab the code i put into the answer

At the top of the black screen, click on the stylesheet.css tab. Insert the "color: blue" where it tells you to. I didn't get the tab thing at first.

I think your referring to the new color of the editor in that all the text is light colored and the background is dark. Doesn't look like there is a way to change it. I think it's to emulate popular text editors that real life hackers use such as Sublime Text 2 and such.
