It's asking you to put in the first two elements (tags) that make up a html document(web page). Every html document is made up of 4 main html elements, these elements are as follows in the right order:

               <!DOCTYPE html>
               <html>
                    <head>
                    </head>
               <body>
               </body>
               </html>

Take note the last three elements have a closing tag (</ >). Everything that gets displayed on the web page goes in between the body tags. For this lesson however, all it is asking you to do is the following:

  1. write in the DOCTYPE tag
  2. write in the beggining and closing html tags

This is how you write it:

                      <!DOCTYPE html>
                      <html>
                      </html>

The above code should work. I hope that helps.
