Why doesn´t my p selector turn green?

I am trying to change the color of a paragraph into green, but when I write the command :
p {
color: green;
}
it doesnt turn green. Help!!

it works for me

p {
color: green
}

are you sure you didn't edit anything else?

I'm having the same issue, on both safari and chrome. This is what I typed:

font color: green;
}
