Bordering on Insanity - Nice table but still an error message

Thank you everyone for your past help. Now this is very perplexing. From the Q & A Forum I can see that many students have had the same problem. I have read all the responses and double checked my code. I still get an error message "oops! did you set border width to 1px and check all your opening and closing tags?" Yes, I did. And when I hit "View Preview" it shows a nice table with a black border and nine inside blocks separated by blue dotted lines.

My code is as follows:
td {
height: 50px;
border: 1px dashed blue;
}
table {
border: 1px solid black
}

I have a newish Lenovo laptop computer that I use for business/personal purposes with Windows Vista Business edition and all updated drivers and browsers. Can anyone give me a hint as to the solution to this problem. Thank you.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I solved the problem by switching my browser to Firefox. I have since just finished the "Web Fundamentals" course.
