Did you remember to put Verdana and a comma between font-family and sans-serif? Yes I did.

Please help me on backup values. I'm stuck on it and its driving me crazy.
my code is,
(html)
<!DOCTYPE html>

< head >
< link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css" />
< title >Result< /title >
< /head >
< body >
< h1 style="font-family:Serif" >I'm going to be a serif font when I grow up!< /h1 >
< h2 style=font-family:Sans-serif >I'm going to be a sans-serif font.< /h2 >
< h3 style="font-family:Cursive" >I'm going to be in cursive!< /h3 >
< /body >
< /html >
(css)
p { font-family:Times, serif; Verdana, sans-serif; Vivaldi, Cursive }

There is nothing wrong with your code but it looks like you misunderstood what the problem was asking of you.

They want you to set up one back up value for each header not p so;
h1 should be font family Times with serif as a back up,
h2 should be Verdana with sans-serif as a back up etc...

h1 {
font-family:Times,serif;
}
h2 {
font-family:Verdana,sans-serif;
}
h3{
font-family:Vivaldi,cursive;
}
