a selector doesn't have the color #cc0000

My code is correct but it still comes up with the error: Oops, try again. Whoops! It looks like your 'a' selector doesn't have the color #cc0000.

Here is my code:

a {
color: #cc0000;
text-decoration: none;
}

If anyone has a problem with the correct css code:

a {
    color: #cc0000;
    text-decoration: none;
}

Try to force-refresh your browser:

  • Firefox - CTRL+SHIFT+R
  • Chrome - CTRL+SHIFT+F5

Made my code pass withouth changing anything in FireFox.

(Might be cmd+R for Mac.)

Do you have a link to your stylesheet? Can post full code? (html + css) the errors are custom, and can be misleading.

My code is exactly the same and does not run through. The code looks perfectly correct. This problem needs to be fixed.

a {
    color: #cc0000;
    text-decoration: none;
}

The prompt states:
"In the stylesheet.css tab, give your a selector a color of #cc0000 and a text-decoration of none. Check out how the link changes in the Result tab!"

You are not supposed to edit any of the HTML, so its irrelevant to post that code. The entirety of my CSS file was the code I posted above.

Aaaaand without editing my code, I just ran it again and it worked... Must've just fixed it.
