Question: What does “Escape it” mean in the third section of the instructions?

Here’s how it’s written: 03 Write a statement to check if feed_title has a value. If so, escape it, add it to ‘&title=’, and then add the whole thing to end of url.

I’ve seen working code that does not add feed_title to the end of the url, but seems to work anyway.
