HTML basics #11 - Why is my code not accepted?

Looking at others posts, most mention about adding spaces but this does not work for me, please help, my code is below. Please note that I have deleted all <, > ,/< and any spaces so that readers can view my code. Also for more information, the following error message keeps appearing: 'Oops, try again'. However it does not say what it is I have done wrong, therefore I am worried whether I will be able to get past this problem. If possible, please could someone help me or post thier code. Many thanks, El9999998.

I figured it out. Make sure you put a space between the end of the image source URL and the "/>". It's hard to see until you plug it in.

Example:
img src="goog.le/chickennugget" /> (Correct)
img src="goog.le/chickennugget"/> (Wrong)

Same problem, any fixes?

Edit: After searching I found the fix -

Make sure you put a space after the " and before />
(This isn't necessary, but is a bug within the module)

Just a bug in the module. You don't really have to have a space after closing an image in quotes.

You would think they would fix this... I stopped doing lessons here because of that bug.

Josiah, you do know you can skip the lesson, and keep practicing HTML, right?

I found a cure for you

  1. before doing this , make sure you have push the "reset code" bottom
  2. copy the same img code (the yellow duck)
  3. past right bellow it

I'm having the same problem. I've even tried various images. I'm wondering if it's just a bug in the module.

Have tried the space suggestion, however it keeps returning with this error:

Oops, try again. Your <img src="..." /> tag is missing the src attribute.
