[resolved] My image doesn't show in web page (even though I've been marked "way to go" etc)

(1) This is the CSS code I've got, apparently it's correct, but no image is showing.

.jumbotron {
  background-image: url('http://goo.gl/VnI6QK');
  height: 500px;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-size: cover;
}

(2) The lesson says I've successfully completed 12/14 Neighborhood Guides, but I haven't started yet. Um? What should I do?

Where did you get the image? did you copy the image location/source?

if you use the full link it works:
background-image: url('http://static.panoramio.com/photos/large/39757258.jpg');

Okay, thanks for that! It works with the original URL. I shortened it using goo.gl and copy and pasted it into my CSS, but obviously, for some unknown reason it didn't work. Appreciate your help. Okay, thanks for that. The background-image is now in place.

even if you shorten it, it should work:
background-image:url('http://goo.gl/pe5bvm');

did you use the image source/location? (right click on image, and select copy image location (or source) don't use the url of the page, then you can shorten that url

Aaah, very interesting. Thanks for that very informative tip! Will be employing that tactic from now on.
