Why won't the border show?

I keep getting an error saying" Did you remember to give your image a 1px soild sized border".

My code: (css)
img {
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
border: 1px solid #4682b4;
}

I had all the same problems but finally figured it out. I'm using chrome and had to manually reset the zoom to 100%. ctrl+0 didn't work for me. Setting the zoom to 100% finally made it work. I never needed to do that before but on this one I did. Hope that helps.

I'm having the same issue, getting stuck due to the border coding on the HTML/CSS project in step 25/26.

My code was also as follows on the stylesheet.css tab:

h1 {font-family: Verdana, Sans-serif; color: #576d94;}
p {font-family: Garamond, Serif; font-size: 18px; color: #4a4943;}
img {height: 100px; width: 300px; border: 1px solid #4682b4;}

The border is there in the code, I see it clearly when I change the px to a higher number of 10 or larger- I'm not sure what I'm missing either.

If anyone figures it out I'd love to know so I can move on to 26/26. Thanks.

I've had the same, "Did you remember to give your image a 1px soild sized border," issue. After a few days and several restarts from 1/25, along with trying both Linux and Windows, using Chrome, FF, Midori, QupZilla (grasping at straws), AND trying different zoom levels in each, I still had the issue. I checked the forum again today I realized after comparing to your css sample that I had not added 'solid' before the color. After correcting mine to look like yours, I was finally able to submit and move on to 26/26 successfully. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post working examples of completed exercises, but If you would like I will email copies of both my index.html and my .css page upon request. pon_tech at yahoo dot com

I found a new image using chrome and used that url instead of the provided link. There must be a problem with the link to codecademy banner provided in the help section.
Its worked fine after that.

I got the same problem and when I changed the "b" in the hex color to capital "B" it solved the problem.

Still stuck here. I have a border, but can't past the lesson. Tried the capital "B", lower case "b" and no effect. Also changed the order of the attributes and still no luck

Are you getting the error that the border is the wrong size? If so, you have to change zoom back to 100%.

No, I only got the "Did you remember to give..." error. I went back a few lessons, to check any differences in the code, logged out and in again and eventually the code was accepted, even though no changes were made. Very strange, but the problem seem to be solved. Thank you!

I don't know why...
Indent is needful to clear .
It's like this:
img {
[indent]border:1px solid #4682b4;
[indent] height:100px;
[indent] width:300px;
}
