Can Someone Explain line 10? - print("%.2f" % total)
I have no error with this exercise, I just am not sure why they used that, instead of:
print total
Can someone clarify or expand upon:
print(“%.2f” % total)?

If you use print total
then it will in most cases print some extra values which you might not even want to see. The other statement print("%.2f" %total)
helps you with precision. Here, by using the latter statement you are creating a program which will print out only two digits beyond the decimal point. Hence more control :) If you use `print(“%.3f” %total)’ then it gives an output with three digit precision.
Hope it helps !!
