Render is a cloud hosting provider that can run every shape and size of application: static websites, dynamic web apps, scheduled cron jobs—you name it. It natively supports many popular programming languages, like Node.js, Python, and Ruby. Render provides a Free tier for hobbyists, students, and experimenters.

Render takes care of deploying and running your apps so you can focus on creating them. It gives every web app its own onrender.com URL (and you can add your own custom domains). Render also handles a lot of the tricky networking concerns that come with app hosting, like managing TLS certificates.

What kind of jobs use Render?

All sorts of software developers deploy their code to Render: frontend, backend, and full-stack. One developer might deploy their web API on Render, while another might deploy an app that uses that API.

What else should I study if I am learning Render?
