How do I receive my industry certification?

Each industry certification is granted by a third-party provider after passing their certification exam. First, take a certification prep path on Codecademy to learn the content and practice for the industry exam. Then, you'll see links to schedule the industry exam directly with a third-party provider. Once you have passed the industry exam, you will receive that industry certification.

Will I have to pay for an industry certification exam?

Yes. Since the industry exam is scheduled and conducted by a third-party provider, it isn’t already included in your Codecademy Pro or Plus membership. An industry exam will be an additional fee paid to the third-party provider.
