Lucas White
Curriculum Developer at Codecademy
Lucas has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Integrated Digital Media from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering. Prior to working at Codecademy, he was an adjunct professor at New York University. He also worked as a Tech Teaching Artist at a nonprofit called Tech Kids Unlimited, which teaches technical skills to children and teens who learn differently.
Lucas has worked on many of our design courses including Intro to UI and UX Design, User Research, Design Thinking: Ideation, and Interaction Design. He also helped develop different courses across Codecademy’s web development catalog, including JavaScript testing, CSS-in-JS, and Go.
Lucas has also helped maintain and manage much of Codecademy’s free resource content such as Codecademy Docs, articles and some livestreams.
