Hey there! I’m a Curriculum Director here at Codecademy, where I manage the Consumer Curriculum team.
I’ve designed a range of Codecademy courses, including Learn HTML, Learn C#, Learn Alexa, and the beginner-friendly Learn How to Code. As a creative technologist, I’m always looking for new ways to make learning code more accessible and engaging.
Prior to joining Codecademy, I was a Teaching Artist for five years and a Lead Teacher at Girls Who Code for two summers. I currently teach the class ‘Artist as Coder’ at the School for Visual Arts and regularly lead creative technology workshops for adults on topics like AI and AR. I have a B.A. in Anthropology, Art History, and French from Vassar College and an M.P.S. in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University.
I’m a former member of The Illuminator, an art-activist collective in NYC, and founder of the feminist tech collective tendernet. My passion is working to change the tech landscape through creative interventions and educational initiatives.
