Get Started with Contributions with Codecademy Docs
Are you interested in learning how to get started with making contributions to repositories? This livestream will introduce you to Codecademy Docs, a community-driven collection of code and technology documentation, and step through how to access the Docs repository and begin your journey as a contributor!
Contributing to documentation is one of the best ways to expand your online presence, develop technical skills, and network with others in your field. For those new to the tech field, contributing to a public repository can be intimidating.
To help, Community Manager Fede Garcia Lorca and Curriculum Developer Lucas White will go through what Codecademy Docs is, the process of accessing our Docs repository, review the basics of GitHub, and give pointers on how to best get started with contributions.
